COVID-19: Temporary Office Closing
With the declaration of a state of emergency in North Carolina by Governor Roy Cooper (here), I will be following NC DHHS guidelines to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Beginning Monday, March 16, I will be closing my office and opening my telehealth clinic for video-based counseling. Prior to your next scheduled appointment, you will receive a calendar invite with instruction on how to join your session using your computer or mobile device.
If you do not have access to a computer or mobile device, are required to pay roaming charges for mobile access, or have any questions or concerns about using telehealth technology, please contact me via email or telephone.
I will monitor the situation and notify you when my office is reopened.
Our Approach
Life Stage Counseling approaches mental health from a human development perspective. All of us are continually changing as we advance through the different stages of life. Change is essential for growth, but it also creates problems that cause stress. Understanding and working through life problems promotes personal growth and prevents mental health issues. Unresolved life problems create on going stress that can impair development, disrupt relationships, and activate disorders of sleeping, eating, anxiety, mood, impulse-control, personality, addiction, and more.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help our clients develop perspectives, skills, and strategies to address the typical, yet often difficult, problems resulting from life change. We accomplish this by offering groups that promote growth and prevent mental health issues, and counseling and assessment services for those seeking guidance or psychotherapy.
Our Offerings
We provide the following products and services.
Free consultations
Valuable web content
Comprehensive assessment
Quality individual counseling
